It would crack the vet's office up when my mother would spell the word out over the throne.

Things can get worse and they did. Champ once received a wound to his leg that became badly infected. After taking him to the vet, we were required to keep the wound open to drain the pus and squirt a disinfectant up into it a couple times daily. This was excruciating for Champ and he made sure both my mother and I suffered as well. Nevertheless, we had to put down the newspapers for the treatments and manage our feline devil as best we could. We offered treats to sweeten the experience.
